Gears

The gear transmission represents one of the basic methods of transmitting movement from the leading to the executive mechanisms. Other methods are the chain and the belt transmission.
We produce all the mechanical elements of these mechanisms.
Classification of gears
  • Cylindrical gears with outward cogs
  • Cylindrical gears with inward cogs
  • Cylindrical gears with straight cogs
  • Cylindrical gears with curvilinear cogs
The straight cogs can be parallel to the base line of the cylinder, slanted, arrow-shaped with unremitting and remitting cogs. The shape of the curvilinear cogs can be part of a spiral, part of evolvent or part of another curved line.
The profile can be regular or irregular. According to the general configuration the gears can be:
  • Cylindrical gears-type axle-tree
  • Cylindrical gears-type disc
  • Cylindrical gears-type ratchet
  • Cogs crest.
The cylindrical gears-type shaft can be without a pap or with a pap, situated on one side or on both sides.
Necessary technical data

In most cases the customer provides us with a sample part that is to be replaced. Our specialists take the parameters of the gear from the sample. They can also determine what heat-treatment is necessary. However, the most precise way is when the customer provides us with the parameters from some original documentation. The most common problem is the distance between the centers. It is essential for the production of pairs of worm-wheels and for gears with slanted cogs. Customers find it difficult to measure this distance, so we take the cover of the reduction gear, where the axes are fixed.

Torsion springs

The torsion springs are a significant part of the reciprocating motion.
Necessary technical data
You can order torsion springs on the phone, providing the following data:
  • Springs, working under compression Ц diameter of the wire of which the spring is made, total length, number of the curves or pitch, outside diameter. Important information is the springТs mode of working: on axis or the spring goes into a bush. This will enable us to manufacture the springs within the safe limits and to consider the spring federation.
  • Springs, working under strain Ц diameter of the wire, outside diameter, length not including the hooks, positioning of the kooks with respect to one another (they can be perpendicular). In some cases there are no hooks, but the clamping is done by a split bush with a spiral groove or the spring is coiled over a thimble with a spiral groove.
  • Torsion springs are manufactured using a sample, because the length of the spring and the position of the two ends with respect to one another are essential.
